Backstage@Myer

Whoa!! Just looking at this picture makes me feel exhausted! I flew to Australia for Myer to do their spring/summer 2010/2011 fashion show. I was in and out, I was back in NY in 3 days!! My schedule was so hectic, I honestly wasn’t sure if I could do it! Somewhere in-between hair, make-up, fittings,interviews,rehearsals or one of the many photo shoots to be shot I managed to stop for this pic. The show was fantastic and completely worth it! I was so happy to be apart of it, I would do it 10 times over!

East for the day.

Kanon Vodka put on an awesome house party in the Hampton’s last weekend and I just couldn’t refuse the invitation. I had just got back from Hamburg (post to come) and had to go to Australia the next day, so I didn’t really have time to drive 3hours away for a party but I’m glad I did, it was HEAPS of fun so it was well worth it!!!

Pool Party Party

Aggy and I went over to The Pool Party on the east riverside park in Brooklyn on the weekend. The Pool Party is a free concert thats on every weekend during summer and it’s sponsored by the english brand Allsaints Spitalfields which is a really cool label. They’ve just opened a store on broadway in Soho, so, if your in NY should go check it out AND check out Aggy’s and Fiona’s online mag naag.com for video footage of us there and in the VIP Allsaints room playing truth or dare! (I actually chug a beer)

As u can see everyone rides their bikes over from the city (very eco friendly) can you believe I couldn’t find a park for my bike!? It was hectic!

BONNAROO

Bonnaroo was great! Nicole and I went down to Tennessee to watch Tamarama. We could only go for the one night but we also manage to see Stevie Wonder (INCREDIBLE), Jay Z who was WAY better then I expected, he is an amazing performer I was in awe the whole time, Mumford&Sons who are awesome, John Butler Trio and The Dead Weather (I LOVE JACK WHITE). We had a lot of fun!

Music Unites charity event

This was a great event the other night, Tamarama Preformed as well as a bunch of other great new artists. Music Unites is a great charity dedicated to bringing music education to underprivileged children in underfunded inner city school systems. We all love music so we were very happy to be apart of it and help celebrate Music Unites 1st birthday.
